Business and Innovation Financing 2025

At the “Business and Innovation Financing 2025” event, we explored the key question: how can Lithuanian businesses and innovators leverage EU funding instruments? Discussions covered the upcoming EU multiannual financial framework, the innovation directions of Horizon Europe in the transport sector, and practical financing tools poised to open new opportunities for businesses in 2025.

• Eglė Jurienė (European Parliament Office in Lithuania) presented how the new EU multiannual budget for 2028–2035 is being shaped and what it means for Lithuanian businesses.
• Akvilė Eglinskaitė and Jovita Žėkaitė‑Maconko (Lithuanian Research Council) shared insights on innovation funding directions—what areas are worth focusing on.
• Asta Kazlauskienė and Dalius Kontrimavičius (Transport Innovation Association) presented international projects like EIT Urban Mobility and EUSBSR, which Lithuanian businesses can join.
• Gintarė Kuncaitytė (Innovation Agency: Versli Lietuva), Saulius Kerza (Ministry of Transport), and Ausma Bartkutė (ILTE) clarified which funding opportunities to expect this year.
