eFTI4LIVE (CEF – Connecting Europe Facility)

- Project objective: the main tasks of the project, which began in 2025, are the certification of eFTI platforms, the development of a governance model for the eFTI ecosystem, ensuring interoperability standards, and preparing for the actual launch (Go-Live) of the eFTI system.
- Additional information about the project: A total of 21 countries take part in the project: Spain (coordinator), Austria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Greece and Slovenia (beneficiaries), as well as Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Slovakia, Portugal and Sweden (observers and associated partners). Activities will also be carried out in other member states, such as Luxembourg, Montenegro and Italy, in line with national eFTI implementation. eFTI4LIVE contributes to broader EU transport-digitalisation initiatives, including European data spaces and the Single European Digital Enforcement Area (SEDEA). The project also builds on the results of earlier initiatives such as FENIX and FEDeRATED, and helps create an interconnected, more effective and more sustainable European transport and logistics ecosystem.
- TIA’s role in the project: implementing publicity and information-dissemination activities and capacity- and engagement-building measures, and drawing up and disseminating practical recommendations and good-practice guidelines to help use and integrate eFTI systems.
