Working groups

In TIA's working groups, businesses, institutions and experts work together to tackle pressing challenges facing the sector. Discussions here turn into concrete work, the results of which feed into legislation and into applications for EU projects.

Transport Sector Digitalisation Working Group

The group’s aim is to strengthen the digital maturity of the transport sector and to encourage members to make use of the opportunities offered by European regulation and the market.

Research and analysis of the sector’s digitalisation
Development of a digital-maturity assessment tool
Building companies’ competencies
Deployment of transport-management and other digital solutions
Applying AI solutions and process-automation opportunities
Implementation of the eFTI Regulation and preparation for the use of electronic transport documents
Development and testing of proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions
Development of system integrations at B2B and B2A level
Application of European Union good practice and standards

Green Transport Working Group

The Green Transport Working Group brings together manufacturers of zero- and low-emission vehicles, developers of charging infrastructure, and other organisations seeking to accelerate the decarbonisation of Lithuania’s transport system. The group actively contributes to initiating changes in legislation.

From 2027 – a 50% road-toll discount for heavy goods vehicles powered by electricity or hydrogen, and a 40% discount for those running on biomethane
An obligation for major cities to establish low-emission zones
Simplified conditions for installing electric-vehicle charging points, and reduced requirements for road protection zones
Guaranteed state incentives for the development of e-mobility
